Saturday Afternoon
It’s Saturday afternoon and I am winding down my work day here at the CSI University in Twin Falls, Idaho. It snowed last night and today, which was a bit of a surprise after all that springlike weather.
I am thankful we are not having tornadoes strike like in Georgia. When I left my motel this morning the news was expecting another storm to move through and most likely to have tornado touch downs in Atlanta. The city was hit yesterday or last night (I did not pay attention to the news well enough) and caused quite a bit of damage to some tall buildings. Glass littered the streets everywhere. Thank God people were not seriously injured or killed. The numbers from the sight of the broken glass falling from tall skyscrapers was ominous.
It is spring break beginning today at CSI College, so it is extremely quiet today with only a hand full of people working in the computer lab.
My partner Cephas stayed up all night working on our website at the motel, so he is not here today cheering me onward in my blogging race. This is only my second blog today. However, I took care of other necessary business for a freelance writer, such as upgrading and fixing the design and functionality of my website, filing codes and documents, answering tons of emails. My website looks better with the new cover page I created. Take a look at it and tell me what you think! The link is located just before this post and again afterwards.
Next week is Easter. With spring break and Easter, my schedule in writing will slow down a little this week, with Sunday off and only five working days of eight hours each. I have been putting in 12-14 hour days trying to get all the blogs and the website set up! Let’s not even talk about submitting for blog sponsors!
I have had great success thus far getting help from technicians on my different sites, so I have no warnings to share. Blessed be!
Till Monday, have a wonderful weekend.
