Our new grand daughter born in Tennesee. Her name is Ashlyn Brooke Gardner and she is about three months old now. We have not met her yet but intend to visit within two weeks on our way to Washington DC. What a beautiful little angel!

Hi! My name is Cheryl Lynn Gardner, better known to most people as Summer Breeze. I have had a passion for writing for years. I also enjoy pen names, being a fan of Benjamin Franklin. Some of my pen names have been "Mary Sunshine" and "Midnight Rider", which was used for my peace and healing work at rainbow gatherings. Hence, I chose a pen name that is a play on that name, The Midnight Writer. The association is obvious since I am a free lance and sometimes creative writing.
