Juggling a Personal Life with Freelance Writing
It seems that most of my time these days is spent tapping on keys to a laptop talking to some invisible unresponsive audience. The feeling is like opening a champagne bottle that has no “pop”…unforgiving…unsatisfying. I wonder often if anyone is reading the words poured from my heart and those tired relentless fingers that tap tap tap at the keys, hoping to write some words of miraculous wisdom or to inspire a mind, or ease a heart or lift a spirit…somewhere in the cyber abyss.
This is my chalkboard without chalk and there is no one around to hear whether the chalk screeches on the board as I write anyway. Does it matter?
Yes. A resounding yes!!!
It matters to me that I write because it is who I am and what I do. It is my soul speaking to an invisible universe of spirits that I may never meet or know. But they will know me because my words echo into the ethers of the vast eternal invisible consciousness and sound loudly, endlessly, touching anyone who passes by, whether aware, or not.
